Fireflies are dancing

I wish I had one of those super high-tech, mucho-awesome, coveted high quality cameras...but I don't. If I did I would take a crazy spectacular picture of the dance of the fireflies that happens every night in our field by our house. It amazes me each evening and I love sitting outside in the quietness and watch the show. Last night, once the littles went to bed, my husband and I sat out by the fire and enjoyed yet another show. We also found ourselves able to watch several displays of fireworks around us. Some were so far off that we couldn't hear the boom but could still see the explosion. I love to watch fireworks, they're so pretty! But even a fireworks show would have difficulties "showing up" the firefly dance. If you have some time to sit and relax just after the sun goes down, don't waste it on the couch. Grab your lawn chair and be prepared to enjoy God's creation. Too often we get caught up in the schedule of the day and we miss all the moments where God is reminding us that He is always with us. My reminder happens every evening around sunset.  :)
